born in Damascus, lives and works in Paris.

1967

first studied philosophy at the École Supérieure des Lettres in Beirut and then transferred to the Université de Paris-Sorbonne, simultaneously studying archaeology at the École du Louvre.

1982

founded the Post-Apollo Press.

1989

 enrolled at the San Francisco Art Institute.
